The concept that the rental industry is based around is environmentally friendly in itself. Our equipment is used and reused time after time. By using ceramic or glass dishware and actual glassware and cutlery, we are reducing the waste caused by paper, plastic or Styrofoam plates, cups and utensils. We are proud to do our part in helping the future generations and are taking it a few steps further.
Not only are we providing green products, we are demonstrating forward thinking in other ways and are really trying to do our part.
Our dishwashers:
We use European-made dishwashing machines from the Meiko brand, unique in Quebec. The machines are built to use over 50% less energy compared to traditional machines. The machines are certified by Energy Star and by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Instant Hot Water:
Certified Energy Star, with a energy factor 0f 0,82 and offering 2 LEED points towards the certification, our new system offers instant hot water without having to heat the traditionnal water tank. Bradford-White's natural gas tankless system only heat the water when it's requested, illiminating the need to heat the sitting water at night or when we simply don't need it. Saving on energy and water at the same time.
Recycling:
We encourage our customers to return any broken china and glassware so we can dispose of it the proper way. 80% of our waste is recycled daily.80% of our waste is recycled daily.
Improved transport containers:
Our table accessories, tableware, glassware and flatware are delivered in containers made of recycled plastic that has a lifetime greatly exceeding that of traditional wooden or cardboard containers also used in the industry.
Drying our utensils:
Once our cutlery has completed its wash cycle, it is then dried using a drying and polishing machine which employs crushed corn grain. In addition to completely disinfecting the utensils, this process allows us to reduce the use of bacteria-filled damp rags and reduces the waste associated with this procedure.
Plastic packaging:
OOur packaging is made of low-density polyethylene plastic (ID code #4 LDPE) which is 100% recyclable. We also use bags made with 100% OXO-degradable plastic.

In Rental:
In our inventory, we offer various sizes of recycling bins for your events. We have been offering this rental item for more than 15 years, proof that for us, recycling is not a new trend and that we take it very seriously.
In the upcoming weeks, months and years we will be adding other ways to improve our contribution to support the environment. Tablecloths made of 100% polyester fiber extracted from recycled bottles and other plastics are beginning to emerge from our suppliers due to the constant demand from companies such as Bravo Location Rentals. Bio-Diesel trucks and improved standards for dealing with pollution taken by the Quebec government will simply help the fight.
